Barcelona Include Pogba In Xavi Shortlist Ahead Of January Window

Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba is now attracting interest from Barcelona as Xavi is set to takeover, MySportDab reports.

The France International is the headliner as Barcelona draw up a list of potential target when the transfer window opens in January.

Xavi will be looking to immediately get things going once he takes over as he already have players he want to club to go after.

Ronald Koeman who was recently sacked due to poor run of form will be seeing his position finally filled.

The French midfielder is at the top of Xavi’s wishlist as he is set to takeover as the new Barcelona manager, according to reports making headlines.

Paul Pogba is one of four players that Xavi has identified as signings he wants at Barcelona, according to latest update coming from El Nacional.

Pogba’s contract with Manchester United ends at the end of the season as he is yet to reach an agreement to extend beyond the current campaign.

Xavi would like to see the club make a push to bring him to Spain when the season comes to an end with possible agreement likely to happen in January.

Also on Xavi’s wishlist is another Mino Raiola client, Erling Haaland, along with Dani Olmo and Jules Kounde who are all linked with a move elsewhere.

The soon to be named manager is looking to make an overhaul in the club which would be a big issue due to their financial problems.

They will have to let some players leave which would also include big names who earn massive wages but struggling to make an impact.

Meanwhile, Paul Pogba might be signing an extension with Manchester United according to latest understanding with him enjoying life at Old Trafford.

Barcelona will be hoping things work out for them in their attempt to sign him when his contract comes to an end with the Premier League side.
