FT: Man City 6-3 Leicester, Raheem Sterling Bags BRACE! | HIGHLIGHTS

Man City claimed a 6-3 victory against Leicester City on boxing day Premier League encounter, MySportDab reports.

First Half Report

Manchester City dominated the whole of the first half of the encounter scoring loads of goals which the visitors were unable to do anything about.

It took Man City just 5 minutes to get the opening goal which came through Kevin De Bruyne after teaming up with Fernandinho to make it 1-0 for his side.

A poor Leicester City defence couldn’t handle things as they committed a foul inside the box which saw Riyad Mahrez making it 2-0 from the penalty spot in the 14th minute.

Another goal from Ilkay Gundogan in the 21st minutes increased the advantage further to 3-0 as the match progressed forward.

Raheem Sterling made it 4-0 in the 25th minute after another good teamwork effort with saw them getting a penalty which the England International scored.

The first half carried on with nothing to show from the Foxes who were busy being ripped apart by the Premier League Champions who couldn’t be held back.

The referee ended the first half of the encounter with Man City 4-0 Leicester City after 45 minutes of football played at the Etihad Stadium.

Second Half Report

The second half was raining goals just like the first 45 minutes which saw the home doing all of the scoring and dominance going forward.

Leicester City pulled one back in the 55th minute through James Maddison who was assisted by Kelechi Iheanacho to make the scoreline 4-1.

The Nigeria grabbed his second assist in the 59th minute after helping out fellow countryman Ademola Lookman who made things 4-2 going forward against Man City.

Kelechi Iheanacho finally scored his goal in the 65th minute after his former team and manager with the scoreline turning 4-3 with few more minutes left on the clock.

Aymeric Laporte scored in the 69th minute to increase the lead further to 5-3 after a beautiful one which was assisted by Riyad Mahrez.

Raheem Sterling made it his brace in the 87th minute of the game after a good finish saw him making it 6-3 for his side.

The match ended with Man City 6-3 Leicester City as Pep Guardiola’s side claimed another big victory at home.
