German goalkeeper Bernd Leno is set to leave Arsenal over lack of playing time, MySportDab reports.

The shot stopper has seen his position as number one taken over by Aaron Ramsdale who recently join the club and has been outstanding.

Bernd Leno has confirmed his intention to leave Arsenal immediately as to get regular playing time ahead of the FIFA World Cup set to go down this year 2022.

The Gunners might be willing to listen to offers coming in for the German as they will be hoping to get enough from his sale.

No replacement has yet been lineup by Arsenal for the goalkeeper incase he leaves the club which he joined from the Bundesliga.

Bernd Leno is determined to leave Arsenal before the January window closes, according to claims coming through from football.london.

The Germany international goalkeeper has slipped behind Aaron Ramsdale in the Emirates Stadium pecking order since the Englishman joined the ranks.

And he wants to find regular game time over the second half of the season which could see him make the world cup list later this year.

Bernd Leno still have one year plus to run on his current contract which also is a good time for the Gunners to sanction a move for him so they don’t lose him for anything.

The goalkeeper joined from Bayer Leverkusen back in 2018 which he signed a five years contract to remain at the Emirates Stadium.

His stay as number one was cut short when Aaron Ramsdale completed a record breaking move to Arsenal which has been a problem for the German who is now second choice.

No official offers yet coming for him but he is determined to make a move elsewhere to finish the remainder of the season with regular playing time as his target before World Cup.
