Manchester United’s squad that travelled to Spain for the Champions League match against Atletico Madrid has now been revealed, MySportDab reports.
United play against Atletico on Wednesday night in the Champions League last-16 first leg match.
This is Manchester United’s last competition for them to win a trophy this season and it is a big task.
Before leaving for Spain, Interim manager announced that Edinson Cavani is unavailable for the match.
“No, Edi can’t make the trip,” he said.
“He has not trained for some time, so he’s not part of the squad.
“He has a groin problem and he does not feel able to fully sprint, so he can’t train for now.
“He’s got enough experience to know when he can help the team again.”
Some of the players were spotted arriving at Manchester Airport ahead of the flight to Spain on Tuesday afternoon.
Cristiano Ronaldo, Harry Maguire, Jadon Sancho, and Raphael Varane amongst others were all seen boarding the plane.
Youngster, Hannibal Mejbri and Anthony Elanga also made the trip to Spain.
A few hours later, United posted a video of the players arriving in Madrid and Fernandes, De Gea, Paul Pogba, Marcus Rashford, and Eric Bailly were all seen.
Some of the players not seen but might still play are Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Scott McTominay and Luke Shaw.
