Manchester United and Chelsea have both opened transfer talks with RB Leipzig striker Timo Werner’s representatives, MySportDab reports.
The Premier League clubs are trying to Hijack Liverpool’s plans to sign Timo Werner this summer due to the financial crisis.
United and the Blues have now opened talks with the player’s agent as Liverpool are still yet to submit a formal bid for the player.

Werner is having a great season for RB Leipzig and he has scored 27 goals in 36 matches across all competitions so far this season.
The 24-year-old is now likely to leave the club after his long four-year stay in Germany this summer, with Liverpool very keen to sign the German international.
But, According to the Guardian, Liverpool have asked for more time due to the coronavirus crisis before submitting a formal offer.
Werner has a release clause of £52million (€60m) in his contract and Liverpool are unsure of the financial impact that could fall upon them because of the Football suspension for months now.
However, According to German Newspaper Bild, Manchester United and Chelsea are looking to take advantage of the situation and have started talks with Werner’s agent.
MySportDab understands Liverpool have already in offered Timo Werner a five-year contract deal worth £9m but are yet to submit a bid.
Despite talks with Manchester United and Chelsea, Werner still prefers a move to Anfield this summer.
