Declan Rice has now spoken up for the first time on the rumours around his future at West Ham, MySportDab reports.
He said in an interview with Sky Sports that the transfer speculation around his future is ‘crazy’.
Manchester United and Chelsea have shown clear interest in signing the midfielder.
The West Ham midfielder is a target for other clubs in Europe also this summer.
Rice has impressed for the Hammers this season, and as they battle for the top six in the Premier League.
He has also helped West Ham reach the Europa League semi-finals.
For Manchester United, they want to sign a new midfielder to replace the likes of Matic, Pogba, Juan Mata and Jesse Lingard leaving at the end of the season.
The midfield has been a problem for Manchester United over the years now.
However, West Ham Coach David Moyes has said that he believes Rice is worth more than £100million.
Now, Rice has admitted his teammates tease him about the price tag, while he tries to focus on the season only.
Speaking to Sky Sports, Rice said: “To be honest, I think playing well comes with rumours. I’ve played two, three good seasons at West Ham.
“Now, top clubs will always be watching.
“It’s not only for me, but for every player. I think it’s important not to focus on all that.
“We are having a good season with West Ham. There’s been big games we’ve had to play so my focus is on that.
“If I thought about others things, I would be carried away and that is not good for the team, or the manager.
“I can’t do anything about the speculation, even with the numbers going around. All i can do is going on the pitch and doing my best.
On the transfer fees mentioned for him, Rice added: “My teammates always joke about it all the time. It’s crazy to be honest.
“I try to block it out, and do my best, which is at football.”
Rice has almost four years left on his current West Ham United contract.
