Liverpool striker Divock Origi has reportedly agreed to AC Milan deal as his contract with the Reds expires at the end of the season, MySportDab reports.

He is expected to join the Italian Champions for medical next week as he had already reached a verbal contract with the club a month ago.

The 27-year-old started his professional football career at a French Ligue 1 side, Lille, with a goal for the club on his debut.

Origi was brought to Anfield in 2014 after the 2021/2022 Premier League runners-up bought him for £10 million from Lillie.

The Belgian international did not have a rosy spell with the English giants, who sent him on loan back to Lillie the same year.

Origi scored in Liverpool’s Champions League final against a fellow English side Tottenham as the Reds won the 2019 UEFA Champions League.

He also helped Klopp’s team perform the much-needed miracle against Barcelona in the semi-finals.

Liverpool had lost the first leg at Camp Nou by 3 goals to nil and had to score four against the Catalans in Anfield to make it to the final.

Origi backed a brace in that match, helping the Reds overturn a 3-0 defeat; what football pundits called the ‘Anfield Miracle.’

Since joining the Reds in 2014, Origi has won the Premier League, the Champions League, FA Cup, Carabao Cup and Club World Cup with the team. He has scored 22 goals in 107 appearances for the club.

He featured for Belgium in their 2014 FIFA World Cup Campaign when he was 19, becoming the youngest player to score in the World Cup.

His contract with the Reds will expire this summer, and he is set to have had a verbal agreement with AC Milan and will be undergoing medicals at the club next week.
