Antonio Rudiger has been unveiled as a Real Madrid player today by the club, MySportDab reports.
Chelsea has also confirmed Antonio Rudiger has left the club after his contract came to an end.
The move has long been agreed upon by the player and Real Madrid who made a good offer to make him reach a verbal agreement.
It has now been made official by both clubs with one parting ways while the other welcoming the German to their side.
The move was as a free agent with Chelsea unable to offer the defender a new contract before he decided to leave them this summer.
Thomas Tuchel earlier made the news known after they played against West Ham United which Antonio Rudiger wasn’t available.
The player soon said his goodbyes after the last game for the club and he ended things with them.
The defender was a key player during the final season as a Chelsea player which saw him winning the Champions League and Super Cup.
He went on to win the FIFA Club World cup before leaving them to join Real Madrid which he will be playing for in the new season.
According To Real Madrid’s Official Website, they confirmed the player move has been made official.
The move will now see Real Madrid fortify their defense more with the addition of Antonio Rudiger signing.
They already have David Alaba who also joined them as a free agent from Bayern Munich and could extend his contract.
A possible pairing of both defenders could be the new Real Madrid lineup at the center back ahead of the new season which will be something good.
Antonio Rudiger will join the team after the international break which the preseason will kick off soon after for all European clubs for the 2022-23 season.
