Manchester United have arrived at the Lowry Hotel in preparation for tonight’s match against Burnley, MySportDab reports.
Coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer might give defender Eric Bailly his first appearance of the season, but one key player was not part of the squad.
Bailly had suffered a serious knee injury in pre-season but could return tonight.
The Ivory Coast international has returned to training for some weeks and played in the U23s’ win against Newcastle earlier this month.
Bailly was also named on the bench for the match with Liverpool at the weekend but was not used in the 2-0 defeat.
However, the 25-year-old could be in the starting XI tonight with Victor Lindelof set to miss out due to illness.
MySportDab understands Lindelof was seen leaving United’s training ground just minutes after arriving on Tuesday morning, amid reports he was struggling with illness.
The Red Devils are expected to return to a 4-2-3-1 formation against Burnley, but Solskjar could still use his 5-3-2 system deployed last time out.
Manchester United Squad at the Lowry Hotel:
De Gea, Romero, Grant, Bailly, Jones, Dalot, Maguire, Shaw, Williams, Wan-Bissaka, Fred, Lingard, Mata, Gomes, Matic, Chong, Pereira, Greenwood, Martial, James.
