Man United are planning a shock move for Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski, MySportDab reports.

The Old Trafford club is currently monitoring the progress of the negotiations between Bayern Munich and Barcelona.

Lewandowski has been linked to the Spanish giants after making known his decision to try a new club next summer.

Meanwhile, Barcelona President has confirmed that the Catalans have submitted a bid for the player and are expecting a reply from Bayern Munich.

According to the Sun, Manchester United have joined the race to land the 33-year-old former Dortmund player.
