Manchester United have now confirmed Erik Ten Hag’s first match at Old Trafford as manager, MySportDab reports.

Erik ten Hag will be in the Old Trafford dugout for the first time on July 31.

This comes at the end of Manchester United’s pre-season.

United will end their pre-season with a friendly match against La Liga club Rayo Vallecano at Old Trafford on July 31st, 4pm kick-off.

The game will be played one week before the new Premier League season starts.

The fixture will be played a day after United face Atletico Madrid in Oslo.

The Old Trafford fixture against Rayo Vallecano is a chance to make sure everyone in Ten Hag’s squad gets some minutes.

United begin pre-season with a match against Liverpool, before playing Melbourne Victory and Crystal Palace in Melbourne.

The Red Devils will then face Aston Villa in Perth.

Manchester United’s football director, John Murtough, said: “Pre-season for us is to be prepared and this is a great opportunity for players may not have played in some of our earlier pre-season matches to get more minutes.

“There is no better place to do this than at Old Trafford.

“This will be Ten Hag’s first match at Old Trafford, and I am sure the fans will give him a fantastic welcome.”

Manchester United’s Collette Roche, added: “We want to offer fans the opportunity to experience Erik Ten Hag’s first match at Old Trafford.

“As well as an opportunity for the club’s up-and-coming stars, fans purchasing tickets will help contributions as 10 percent of profits from the game will be donated to Manchester United Foundation.”

Tickets for Manchester United’s match vs Rayo Vallecano is now on sale at £20 for adults, and £10 for under 16s.

Executive club members, officials, and season ticket holders get a massive discount on tickets and will only have to pay £1 for under 16s and £5 for adults.
