Schalke defender Jean-Clair Todibo got very angry and told Dortmund striker Erling Haaland to “go f**k your grandmother” during a heated conversation between them, MySportDab reports.
This incident happened in the German Bundesliga’s first match return amid the difficult coronavirus pandemic.
Haaland was Borussia Dortmund’s main main in the early stages and defender Todibo was given the job to stop the the 19-year-old.
The Barcelona defender on loan at Schalke was marking Haaland before a corner through the first half when they started pushing each other in the box.
The referee had to intervene and separate them although Tobido still verbally insulted the Norwegian.
With no fans allowed inside the stadium the voices of the players and coaches could be heard during the game.
However, Todibo told Haaland in his native French to ‘go f*** your grandmother’.
The game today marked Todibo’s sixth match since signing for Schalke on loan from Barcelona in January.
But, it only inspired Haaland to improve with his performance and he later scored the opening goal of the match.
Todibo may still receive a punishment for that insult which was very audibly and could have been picked by the pitchside microphones.
Two goals from both halfs help Dortmund secure a 4-0 win against rivals Schalke today with goals from Haaland, Raphael Guerriero and Thorgan Hazard.
