Ajax is reportedly valuing Lisandro Martinez at £43m, while United are incredibly close to meeting the target.

The Hag has reportedly submitted a bid that is very close to the value placed on the player by Ajax.

According to the Mirror, United has offered £35.3m upfront and has settled for £4.3m add-ons.

The difference between Lisandro’s valuation by Ajax and Manchester United is now a paltry £3.4m.

United’s offer is higher than what the Gunners offered for Lisandro, which Ajax rejected.

Mikel Arteta, who has made some crucial signings in the transfer market, already made an offer of £34m for the Argentine international.

So far, Erik Ten Hag is yet to record any signing since the assumption of duties and opening of the transfer market.

The Red Devils have been stucked in a negotiation battle with Barcelona ro sign Frenkie De Jong.

Meanwhile, it has been confirmed that Ten Hag may be possibly making headway for his first signing at Old Trafford.

United are said to have agreed on personal terms with Feyenoord defender Tyrell Malacia.

At the time of filing this report, Ajax are yet to respond to Manchester United’s latest bid for Lisandro Martinez.
