Timo Werner could be in for a shock return back to RB Leipzig from Chelsea this summer, MySportDab reports.

The German international is struggling with Chelsea as his has been unable to pick form despite playing for two seasons.

The Premier League side are open to offloading him back to his former club which discussion are currently going on for a move.

Meanwhile the Blues are hoping to use him as part of a deal which will see them land a move for other player who they want in RB Leipzig.

Thomas Tuchel is ready to allow Timo Werner return back to Germany as the arrival of Raheem Sterling could only mean he have more people to fight to play.

They are looking at the possibility of cutting down their attacking options to unable them bring in more players before the window comes to a close.

Reports claimed a meeting was held on Sunday for a possible swap deal between Chelsea and RB Leipzig as they were hoping to get Gvardiol in exchange.

It seems like that deal won’t be happening but it doesn’t rule out the fact that Timo Werner could be heading back to Germany.

Fabrizio Romano confirmed the latest reports reaching us stating RB Leipzig are now pushing seriously concerning making the move happen.
