First Half Report
The first half of the game produced so much class from the Italians, who made sure everything worked out in their favor going forward in the 45 minutes.
Hungary came into the game knowing they needed just a draw to confirm their place in the finals of the UEFA Nations League out of a powerful group.
It wasn’t an easy one for the home side, who had Italy doing so much from their end, as they also knew they stood a lot of chances of making it into the finals and making up for their failure to book a World Cup ticket.
The goal finally came from Giacomo Raspadori in the 27th minute of the match, which saw the forward finishing off neatly to make the scoreline 0-1 in favor of the away side for the game.
More opportunities continued to come by, but nothing changed the scoreline, which was still the same in favor of the away side, who kept their cool knowing they had the lead.
The first half ended with Italy going into the break with a 0-1 lead against their opposition Hungary who did everything possible to make sure they did not concede, which still did happen.
