Cristiano Ronaldo was all happy today in training and produced a good nutmeg on Lisandro Martinez, MySportDab reports.
The Ballon D’Or winner was an unused substitute for Manchester United’s 6-3 defeat at Manchester City.
However, Ronaldo is confident of starting for United in their Europa League game against Omonia on Thursday.
In preparation for the match, Ronaldo and his teammates resumed back training today at Carrington.
During training, he showed off another skill with a cheeky nutmeg on defender Lisandro Martinez.
During the training session, the defender was put in the middle to win the ball back before Ronaldo put the ball through his legs.
Ronaldo celebrated wildly with the other players after the nutmeg and Martinez just had a little smile on his face.
The legendary forward scored his first goal of the season for the Red Devils against FC Sheriff in their last Europa game.
Now, Ronaldo is desperate to score more goals and increase his tally, despite having played only few minutes.
Coach Erik ten Hag will hope to get a reaction from his players this week when they face Everton in the Premier League.
