Chelsea and England left-back, Reece James, has spoken after sustaining an injury in the Champions League against AC Milan, MySportDab reports.

In a keenly contested Champions League clash against Italian giants AC Milan, Reece James appeared to hurt his knee.

He muttered courage and tried to play the game till the end at the San Siro but finally gave up as he went down, holding his knee.

James had to hobble off the pitch, with Graham Potter substituting him in the game.

As things stand, the risks are high for Reece James as the 2022 World Cup looms on the horizon.

Meanwhile, Reece James took to his Twitter account to immediately revealed the injury situation.

James added a green love emoji to wrap up his message after the injury.

As he said that he is keeping his fingers crossed, the extent of Reece James’ injury is yet to be ascertained.

Former Premier League icon Joe Cole has given a somewhat scary situation prediction.

According to him, Reece James landed awkwardly, and huge damage can be reported after 24/48 hours.

Chelsea completed a spectacular double against AC Milan, getting all three points at Stamford Bridge and the San Siro.
