Mason Mount scored a brace as Chelsea beat Aston Villa at the Villa Park 0-2 in the Premier League, MySportDab reports.

First Half Report

The first half wasn’t too far from evenly balanced between both teams who did everything possible to make sure they score a goal in the match.

Aston Villa started well by making sure they push forward looking to make something happen which didn’t come so easy for them despite all their attempts to score.

Aston Villa Vs Chelsea

Chelsea took the lead after an error from their opponent saw Mason Mount finishing off neatly to make it 0-1 in the 6th minutes which saw them holding things down.

That lead was enough as the Blues continued holding on in the match which also saw Kepa Arrizabalaga putting up some world class saves to make sure the lead was still on their side hitting the one half hour mark.

So much more happened but nothing changed as the first half ended with Chelsea taking a 0-1 lead into the break against Aston Villa after 45 minutes of football played between them.

Second Half Report

The second half started slow with the Blues doing everything to calm things down while they also look to kill off the match early so their opponent won’t find a way back.

Aston Villa looked good like they could make something happen pushing forward, but it wasn’t happening anytime soon for them as things carried on in the encounter.

Mason Mount made it 0-2 in the 65th minute of the game with a wicked freekick which beat the goalkeeper and increased the advantage for the Blues going forward in the game.

The match carried on until it came to an end with Chelsea claiming a 0-2 win against Aston Villa which sees them maintain their number four position with one game in hand.
