OFFICIAL: Denmark Names Final 26-Man World Cup Squad! [See Full List]

Denmark have named their final 26-man list for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, MySportDab reports.

Denmark manager Kasper Hjulmand unveiled the squad for the World Cup, with a few weeks remaining to the kick-off of the tournament.

As expected, top Premier League stars have made it to the list, with Manchester United midfielder Christian Eriksen and  Tottenham’s playmaker Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg headlining the Danes’ squad.

Also on the list are Crystal Palace defender Joachim Andersen and Brentford’s Mathias Jensen and Mikkel Damsgaard, including Ramsus Kristensen of Leeds.

Ex-Chelsea and now Barcelona defender Andreas Christensen is leading the list of defenders who will be heading to Qatar.

November 14 is the deadline for all the team to submit their final list ahead of the tournament, which kicks off on November 20.

Denmark faces defending champions France plus Australia and Tunisia in Group D.

Defenders: Simon Kjaer, Joachim Andersen, Joakim Maehle, Andreas Christensen , Rasmus Kristensen, Jens Stryger Larsen , Victor Nelsson, Daniel Wass.

Midfielders: Thomas Delaney, Mathias Jensen, Christian Eriksen, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg.

Forwards: Andreas Skov Olsen, Jesper Lindstrom, Andreas Cornelius, Martin Braithwaite, Kasper Dolberg, Mikkel Damsgaard, Jonas Wind.

Denmark is in Group D alongside defending Champions France, Tunisia, and Australia.

Denmark is among the top favorites to qualify from Group D but will have to battle Australia and Tunisia, with France being another top favorite to qualify from the group.
