FT: Arsenal 1-3 Brighton, Gunners Crash Out Of EFL! (VIDEO HIGHLIGHTS)

Brighton and Hove Albion thrashed Arsenal 1-3 as the Gunners crash out of the EFL Carabao Cup, MySportDab reports.

First Half Report

Both teams had a fair enough advantage in the first half which they were able to put into good use going forward in the encounter.

Arsenal scored an early goal in the 20th minute of the game through Edward Nketiah who was able to put his opportunity to good use as the scoreline turned 1-0.

Brighton and Hove Albion didn’t seat back and watch, they made sure life wasn’t easy for the Gunners despite them taking the lead as the game carried on between them.

Danny Welbeck scored from the penalty spot as he was able to bring his side back into the game 1-1 in the 27th minute of the encounter which continued with a lot happening for them.

That goal was the last action which saw the first half coming to an end with Arsenal being held to a 1-1 draw against Brighton and Hove Albion after 45 minutes.

Second Half Report

The second half wasn’t that bad for them both as they did come in trying to make sure something good happened between the two of them while going forward.

Arsenal carried on with their dominance in going forward in the match which saw them pressing to take the advantage of the encounter.

Brighton and Hove Albion took the lead in the 58th minute of the game thanks to a shocker from Kaoru Mitoma who made the scoreline 1-2.

Another one followed up from Tariq Lamptey as the scoreline increased more to 1-3 as the away side carried on with the game knowing they just need to defend well until the end.

The match ended with Brighton And Hove Albion moving on to the next round of the EFL Carabao Cup with a 1-3 victory against Arsenal after 90 minutes.
