Graham Potter suffers 3rd defeat in a row as Newcastle United beat Chelsea 1-0 in the Premier League, MySportDab reports.

First Half Report

Both teams didn’t have much room to operate in the first half of the encounter which saw both teams doing a lot going forward against each other.

Newcastle United were the much better of both teams in the early minutes which they saw more of the ball going forward and looking to make something good happen.

Chelsea also had their moment but it wasn’t good enough as they were pegged back a lot with Edouard Mendy being on high alert for some back passes.

Armando Broja had an opportunity but his strike wasn’t heavy enough to cause any damage after a good buildup from play which saw them Blues getting the best opportunity for the day.

The first half came to an end with Chelsea and Newcastle United holding each other to a 1-1 scoreline which they headed inside for the break after 45 minutes.

Second Half Report

The second half was different coming from both teams who had a lot of talks coming from their manager who encouraged them to push more.

Chelsea remained calm as the match carried on with them doing everything in their power to make something happen which didn’t come for them despite all.

Newcastle United broke the deadlock from a powerful strike which came from Joseph Willock beating Edouard Mendy to make the scoreline 1-0 for the home side after a good buildup.

The Blues couldn’t make anything happen from their end as Graham Potter had to make five changes which saw Kai Havertz also coming into the match which carried on.

Nothing else come to play as the match ended with Newcastle United taking all three points after beating Chelsea 1-0 after 90 minutes of football played between them.
