Senegal claimed a 1-3 victory against host Nation Qatar at the FIFA World Cup, MySportDab reports.
First Half Report
It was a fair first half for both teams who did well enough in making sure they make something happen, but just one side could get the opportunity of celebrating.
Qatar started the game well after their poor performance against Ecuador which saw them bringing the heat to the African side who were able to also hold everything down from their end.
Senegal did more of the opportunities creation which saw them going close on many occasions to see if they can make something happen which didn’t come to reality.
The goal finally came after a longtime which saw Boulaye Dia hitting the back of the net in the 41st minutes of the game which saw able to make the scoreline 0-1 as the match carried on.
The first half came to an end with Senegal taking a 0-1 advantage into the break against the host Nation Qatar after 45 minutes of football between them for the afternoon.
Second Half Report
The second half started with a lot coming from both sides who wanted to make sure something good come to play which would impact the end.
Senegal doubled their advantage in the 48th minute of the game which saw Famara Diedhiou making it count for his side as the match turned 0-2 with more happening.
Qatar pulled one goal back in the 78th minute through an outstanding header which came from Mohammed Muntari as the scoreline turned 1-2 with more left to play.
Bamba Dieng made it 1-3 through a wonderful finish which was thanks to a good teamwork efforts resulting to the lead being extended.
The match carried on and ended with Senegal claiming all three points from a 1-3 victory against Qatar who were able to get their first ever FIFA World Cup goal in their history.
