PSG have confirmed Kylian Mbappe’s injury return date, MySportDab reports.

The France forward picked up a thigh injury in PSG’s 3-1 win over Montpellier in Ligue 1 matchday 21 clash.

The 21-year-old was forced to be subbed off after just 20 minutes in the game following the injury.

Also injured in the game, was former Real Madrid center-back, who was also substituted in the first half.

After the game, PSG boss Christophe Galtier played down the severity of the injury, saying the two players were substituted due to workload from a hectic schedule of matches.

He, however, admitted they were injured but said it was minor injuries and they will soon return to the team.

Before Kylian left the pitch, he sparked reactions after he blew away two big opportunities that would have given PSG the lead in the first half.

The home side conceded two penalty kicks and he took both penalties, missing all of them.

PSG later emerged from the lost opportunity to win the game, with Kylian ruled out of action.

Despite the shocking penalty miss, Mbappe will be a big loss to PSG following the injury.

Meanwhile, PSG has come out with a statement on the state and situation of Kylian Mbappe’s injury.

In a club statement released on PSG’s website, the Ligue 1 giants confirmed Kylian Mbappe will be ruled out for three weeks following the injury.

“‘After undergoing tests, Kylian Mbappé suffered an injury to the left thigh at the level of the femoral biceps. He is expected to be out of action for three weeks.’

This means Kylian Mbappe will miss PSG’s Champions League clash against Bayern Munich on February 15, including three French Ligue fixtures before then.

Bayern Munich takes on PSG in the first leg before traveling to Germany on March for the second leg on March 8.
