Manchester United new takover deadline and Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s new ‘controversialboffer’ has been confirmed, MySportDab reports.

The UK richest investor is among the top favorites set to take over Manchester United as new owner.

The takeover process has been dragging but there is optimism the Glazers are still bent on selling the club to end their 18 years ownership.

Jim Ratcliffe and his rival Jassim Bin Hamad Al-Thani are the frontliners on the race to take over the reins at Old Trafford as new owners.

The two investors have submitted first and second bid which has been turned down by the Glazers.

A call has been made for a third bid, and it is yet unclear how much both Ratcliffe and Sheikh Jassim Bin Hamad Al-Thani are ready to offer.

Now, the Sun reports Sir Jim Ratcliffe is exploring alternatives to overtake Al-Thani on the race and has reportedly come out with a new plan for his take over options.

The Ineos owner is reportedly ready to offer the Glazers a tempting deal to make them stay at the club after he must have bought the club.

Ratcliffe reportedly wants the Glazers to retain their ownership of Manchester United with at least 20% of stakes ownership while he buys a controlling stake of more than 50% of the club.

This means, the Glazers will not totally exit the scene after they must have sell Manchester United to Ratcliffe.

The move by Jim Ratcliffe will be unpopular with United fans who want the Glazers to leave the club totally.

Due to the dragging negotiations and the endless round of talks and bids, there were speculations the Glazers are not keen on total but a partial sale of stakes to raise funds.

Hence, Jim Ratcliffe’s bid may likely be considered than Sheikh Jassim Bin Hamad Al-Thani’s, who is interested in total sell out and purchase.

Meanwhile, the Mirror reports the date for submission of new bids has been fixed for tomorrow Friday 28.
