Spanish FA have finally swung into action following racial abuse on Vinicius Jr by Valencia fans, MySportDab reports.

La Liga made headlines on Sunday during Valencia Vs Real Madrid match that saw Vinicius Jr sent off.

A melee broke out in the match as Vinicius Jr attempted to personally deal with a fan that was hurling racial abuse on him.

He was later sent off in the match after he clashed with a Valencia player Hugo Duro, punching the latter in the face after he was headlocked.

An emotional Vinicius Jr left the pitch furious after his first red card in his career.

After the match he took to social media to blast La Liga and Spain for tarnishing the image of the game by allowing racial abuses.

His social media rant prompted La Liga President Javier Tebas, who was apparently offended, to respond asking Vinicius to inform himself first and not label La Liga and Spain as racist.

The Real Madrid youngster then hit back at Javier Tebas for not taking action on the racist but choosing to attack him instead.

The spat between Vinicius Jr and Javier Tebas draw attention of top footballers to call for an action against racists.

FIFA President, Gianni Infantino, said La Liga should “stop talking and starting acting.”

Following calls by various quarters and widespread condemnation, the Spanish FA have immediately swung into action.

The Spain football governing body announced on Tuesday that Vinicius Jr’s red card has been reversed.

Also, the stand on which the racial slurs was hurled at him has been closed for five matches.

Valencia are now given not more than 10 days from the day of the ruling to appeal the decision.
