FIFA have placed a ban on Al Nassr over an unpaid fee for Ahmed Musa move with Leicester City, MySportDab reports.

The Saudi Arabian club once had the Nigerian international playing for them after securing a move from Leicester City.

Al Nassr have been hammered with a ban by FIFA over some issues with the deal for Ahmed Musa which dated back to 2018 to 2020.

According to reports reaching from from Transfer News Live, they confirmed the ban placed on the club after their failure to pay part of a deal for the Nigerian international.

Here Is What Was Said:

“Al-Nassr have been banned by FIFA from registering new players for failing to pay add-ons owed to Leicester as part of the Ahmed Musa deal.

“Between 2018-20 Musa triggered £390k (€460k) in performance-related add-ons, which are yet to be paid despite CAS ruling in #LCFC’s favour.

“Al-Nassr failed to comply with the ruling resulting in the registration ban.

“Sources indicate it will be lifted in a matter of weeks providing Al-Nassr now make the payment promptly, which they have indicated they will.

“This is an issue that pre-dates PIF taking control of Al-Nassr.

“PIF sources stress the new structure will ensure these type of problems and punishments don’t happen again.

“Similar types of cases have been a widespread issue throughout the Saudi Pro League in the past.

The club are now tasked to do the needful to ensure they remove the ban placed on them.

Meanwhile this will put a block to a number of moves they have done as they won’t be able to register for now.
