Manchester United’s proposed offer and and Atalanta asking price for Rasmus Hojlund has been revealed, MySportDab reports.
MySportDab understand Manchester United are making moves to sign Rasmus Hojlund to sharpen the club’s attack ahead of the 2023/24 season.
Personal terms are already in place for the move, but Atalanta are yet to give a nod as Manchester United are yet to table their official offer for Hojlund.
Manchester United have reportedly plotted a swap deal to include other Manchester United players for Rasmus Hojlund but the move was turned by Atalanta, who wants an all-cash offer for Hojlund.
While the two clubs are preparing for a round of talks and negotiations for a move to happen, Italian outlet, Corriere della Sera has revealed Manchester United’s proposed first offer and Atalanta asking price for Hojlund.
According to the report, Manchester United are ready to table a first bid of €50m for Hojlund while Atalanta are slamming a €60m price tag on the Danish top talent.
It is only just a difference of €10m but it is believed United are more likely to strike a deal for the player even if the first offer for Rasmus Hojlund is rejected.
It is understood the club were planning to offer Mason Greenwood on a loan move to Atalanta but the Serie A outfit turned down the proposal.
The signing of Rasmus Hojlund will bring Manchester United new signing so far this season to three after the club completed deals for Mason Mount from Chelsea and Andre Onana from Inter Milan.
Rasmus Hojlund has been tipped as one of the best and promising young strikers in Europe.
He will be expected to partner Marcus Rashford, who just signed a new deal with the club, in Manchester United attack should the Red Devils complete a move for him.
