Bayern Munich forward Sadio has reached an agreement in principle with Al Nassr to join the club this summer, MySportDab reports.

The former Liverpool forward has seen his rating dropped drastically after joining Bayern Munich last summer.

Mane, 27, completed a £35m move to Bayern Munich after guiding Liverpool to two Champions League finals , winning one and losing one.

He enjoyed a great career at Anfield but left the club for Bayern for reasons related to his contract terms with the club which he was no longer keen on keeping.

In his 12 months at Bayern Munich, he has been relegated to the peripheries, struggling for game time.

Mane has been reduced to the bench as he found it hard to compete for a starting place with the likes of Leroy Sane and Serge Gnabry.

His troubles at Allianz Arena was compounded when he picked up a harmstring injury before the 2022 World Cup.

He was excluded from Senegal World Cup squad after it was confirmed he will not be able to recover and joined the team in the tournament.

Mane spent months on the sidelines before returning to first team training. Despite his return from injury, Mane’s Bayern Munich condition has not improved even under new manager Thomas Tuchel.

MySportDab understand Bayern Munich are ready to let Sadio Mane leave this summer with Thomas Tuchel revealing the Senegal forward is not part of his plans next season.

Amid his Bayern Munich struggles, it is understood Mane is also eyeing an exit from Bayern Munich to breath life back to his career.

He was linked to Chelsea, Manchester United, including a return to Liverpool.

Now, according to reports reaching us from L’Equipe, Sadio Mane has reached an agreement in principle with Al Nassr to join the club this summer.

The agreement followed after his representatives reportedly met with Al Nassr officials in Portugal to discuss on a possible deal.

Mane will make the list of high-profile players in top leagues in Europe that are moving to Saudi Arabia this summer should the deal materialize.
