Premier League club Chelsea have tabled their first offer for Crystal Palace wonder striker, Michael Olise, MySportDab reports.

Olise, who impressed with Crystal Palace last season, is top on the radar of Chelsea new manager Mauricio Pochettino, who is said to be a very big fan and admirer of the French youngster.

According to RMC Sport, Mauricio Pochettino has submitted a £39million bid for Michael Olise and is ramping up attempts to bring the youngster to Stamford Bridge this summer.

However, the Blues have to race with Manchester City on the attempt to sign Olise as Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola is also eyeing a move for the fast-rising youngster according to reports.

Olise made 37 Premier League appearances for Crystal Palace last summer, scoring 2 goals with 11 assists to push the Eagles to an 11th place finish on the Premier League table.

He has three years remaining on his Crystal Palace contract and Crystal Palace are not ready to sell him this summer after a standout performance for the club last summer.

Crystal Palace manager Roy Hodgson reportedly wants Olise to be part of his squad plans next season after Wilfred Saha refused to renew his contract and has left the club on a free transfer this summer.

Olise has a release clause of £39million attached to his Crystal Palace deal and is only available to Champions League clubs hence a move by Manchester City could likely dim Chelsea chances of signing the young attacker.

It is not the first time top clubs in the Premier League League have indicated interest in signing Michael Olise as Jurgen Klopp had earlier indicated interest in the player in 2021/22 season but did not make a move for the player.
