Zlatan Ibrahimovic has rejected a move back to the Italian Serie A and is now in advanced talks with Everton over a Premier League return, MySportDab reports.
Ibrahimovic left LA Galaxy after the last MLS season and has been linked with a host of European clubs.
At 38-years-old, Ibrahimovic was close to an AC Milan return but he has rejected their £1.7million, 18-month contract offer.
The ex Manchester United forward is said to be demanding double of what Milan are offering him in the contract.
According to Italian Newspaper Tuttosport, Ibrahimovic could return to the Premier League, nearly two years after leaving Manchester United.
And Everton appear to be his next destination with Ancelotti set to get the managerial job.
The club are not where they planned to be following the sack of Coach Marco Silva.
Interim Coach Duncan Ferguson has done a great job so far by leading the team to a crucial win over Chelsea, then a 1-1 draw against Manchester United.
However, Champions League winning Coach Carlo Ancelotti is expected to take over at Goodison Park after flying into London for talks yesterday.
He is set to reunite with Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who he coached while boss of French Giants Paris-Saint Germain.
Ibrahimovic’s representative Super Agent Mino Raiola completed Moise Kean’s transfer in the summer from Juventus to Everton and has a good relationship with the Toffees.
