BREAKING! Arsenal Confirm Devastating Update on Jurrien Timber Injury!

Arsenal have confirmed a grim update on Jurrien Timber’s injury situation, MySportDab reports.

A club statement revealed Jurrien Timber will undergo surgery and will be ruled out of action as he spend time on the sideline for rehabilitation.

 

However, when the former Ajax defender will be back from injury was not revealed by the club.

“Jurrien will undergo surgery in the coming days and will be out of action for a period of time.

“The support and expertise from our medical team and everyone at the club will now be focussed on Jurrien’s rehabilitation programme, to ensure he recovers well and is back playing as soon as possible.”

Meanwhile, Jurrien Timber took to his social media handle to express his disappointment with the injury which will ground him on the sideline for while.

He wrote: “Gutted to share my injury is more serious than expected, especially after the warm welcome I’ve received.

“I wanted to repay you on the pitch, which will not be possible for the forthcoming period.

“I’m blessed with a lot of great people around me, together we will do anything to get back as soon and strong as possible.

Jurrien Timber made his competitive for Arsenal in Community Shield clash against Manchester at Wembley.

He impressed on his debut, helping the 2022/23 Premier League runners-up avenge their Premier League title loss last season by beating Man City on penalties.

The injury is coming as major blow to Mikel Arteta who did everything possible to sign the player this summer.

talkSports reports Jurrien Timber could be ruled out throughout the 2023/24 season as ACL injury usually take about six to nine months before recovery.
