Brighton Sign Ansu Fati From Barcelona!

Premier League club, Brighton has signed Ansu Fati from Laliga giants Barcelona, MySportDab reports.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Brighton have completed a move for Fati as the two clubs have reached an agreement on the player.

Ansu Fati will join Brighton on a loan till 2024 but no buy option has been attached to the deal.

After the expiration of his loan tenure with the Seagulls, the 20-year-old wi be expected to return to Barcelona next season.

Further details of the loan move reveal Brighton will foot 80% of Fati’s Barcelona salary thoughout the loan deal.

Fati joins Brighton as a last resort after his dwindling fortunes at Barcelona shows no sign of abating.

The prolific youngster has dropped down the pecking order at Barcelona under Xavi Hernandez of recent with the Barcelona boss prefering Raphinha and Lamine Yamal.

 

Ansu Fati has made three Laliga appearances for Barcelona this summer but has started all the three matches from the bench.

According to reports he was ready to continue with the Laliga champions.tjis season before changing his mind to push for an exit after 16-year-old Lamine Yamal also started ahead of him.

Big Premier League clubs were on the trail of Ansu Fati with Liverpool and Tottenham listed among clubs who were ready to sign the player this summer but Fati wanted to join a club he will not struggle to make the starting lineup.

He reportedly opted for Brighton move as he stands a chance of starting regularly for the club and fine-tuning his career.

As of the time of filing this report, Fati is set for Brighton medical and will be unveiled as the club’s new addition this summer.
