Manchester United Confirm Team News, Injury Update Vs Liverpool

Manchester United have confirmed their team news ahead of crunch Premier League clash with Liverpool this weekend, MySportDab reports.

The Red Devils will take on Liverpool this weekend in a make-or-mar Premier League clash which could pile or lessen the pressure on embattled manager Erik ten Hag.

United will go into the game on the back of two successive home defeats against Bournemouth in the Premier League and Bayern Munich in Champions League.

Erik ten Hag faces a tough test to reverse the club’s dwindling fortunes when he takes on Jurgen Klopp’s star-studded side.

Ahead of the game, United have confirmed a number of players are available while others will miss the clash.

Since the start of the season, United have been struggling with reccurring injury crisis involving top players.

The injury crisis has piled up with a number of players set to miss the Liverpool clash.

Harry Maguire and Luke Shaw, who both picked up injuries in the Bayern UCL clash, are more likely to miss the clash, according to the club’s update on their injuries.

Victor Lindelof, who missed the game against Bayern, is also not yet fit for action although he has returned to training.

The same goes for Casemiro and Amad Diallo who are back to training, including Mason Mount but are not ready for action.

United have also confirmed Lisandro Martinez is still in the sidelines, including Tyrell Malacia and will both miss the clash.

Also set to miss the game is Man United new skipper Bruno Fernandes, who is under a one-match suspension for picking his fourth yellow card against Bournemouth.

Andre Onana will be expected to start at the goalpost with Evans and Reguilon available to start at the back including Raphael Varane.

Kobbie Mainoo and Amrabat are expected in the midfield while Rasmus Hojlund and Antony, including Scott McTominay leads the attwck

Erik ten Hag will hope to return United to winning ways after the back-to-back defeats at Old Trafford.
