Tottenham Coach Jose Mourinho has blasted former club Manchester United, and also Bruno Fernandes, MySportDab reports.
The Red Devils sealed a place in the top four on Sunday after Fernandes scored a penalty and Jesse Lingard stoppage time goal.
The 2-0 win over Leicester City on the last day helped secure Champions League football for next season.
Meanwhile, United were in fantastic form since the Premier League restart, and Fernandes was the club’s standout performer.
The January signing has scored eight goals and provided seven assists in 14 Premier League games.
However, Jose Mourinho has aimed a dig at Bruno Fernandes penalty record.
‘Bruno came, he fit fine, played well and improved the United squad,’ Mourinho told Portuguese newspaper Record.
‘He is also clearly a great penalty taker, one of the best in the world, because he’s scored about 20 so far!’.
Fernandes has scored six penalties since he joined Manchester United in January from Sporting Lisbon.
Tottenham were unable to qualify for the Champions League this season but secured Europa League football.
