Manchester City advance into the next round of the FIFA Club World Cup after beating Urawa Red Diamonds 0-3, MySportDab reports.

Erling Haaland was nowhere to be found once again as he continue to miss out on action due to his injury that is yet to see him recover.

Kevin De Bruyne also did not make an appearance as Mateo Kovacic and Bernardo Silva both scored to hand their side the needed victory at the end.

The game wasn’t easy from the start which saw a lot of work being done going forward from both teams who needed a goal.

Urawa Red Diamonds were up to the task as they put up a good wall ensuring there was nothing breaking them down despite all the pressure.

For Manchester City it was business for them looking to make sure they took the lead which proved difficult hitting the half hour mark with things staying goalless.

A late own goal from Hoibraten in the added time made sure Manchester City headed for the break with a 0-1 lead against Urawa Red Diamonds who gave a good account.

More was witnessed in the second half which was all about the Premier League side finding their balanced and started pressing more.

Manchester City doubled their lead in the 52nd minutes though a wonderful goal which was beautifully scored by Mateo Kovacic to make things 0-2 going forward.

Urawa Red Diamonds lost balance and couldn’t control things as they let in another goal from Bernardo Silva which came in the 59th minutes to make it 0-3.

Manchester City ended the match with a 0-3 victory which saw them advance unto the next round of the Fifa Club World Cup after seeing off Urawa Red Diamonds.
