Manchester United’s decision on Sofyan Amrabat has has been confirmed amidst speculations in his future at the club, MySportDab reports.

Sofyan Amrabat sold dreams to Manchester United fans with his prolific trail with Morocco in 2022 World Cup.

He was one of the best midfielders in the tournament, helping Morocco reached their first ever World Cup semifinal.

Moreso, Man United manager Erik ten Hag happened to be a big fan of the player having worked with him at Utrecht in the Dutch league.

Save his 2022 World Cup heroics, Sofyan Amrabat equally poses an intimidating profile with his club Fiorentina, and was among top midfielders in Serie A.

With Erik ten Hag still connecting the dots in Manchester United midfield then, Sofyan Amrabat was considered a big midfield solution for the Red Devils.

A permanent deal was previously reported before United opted for loan deal at the final hours of the transfer window.

However, a permanent move was not ruled out should the Moroccan midfield sensation impress on his loan spell with the Red Devils.

Now, in 17 matches for Manchester United, Sofyan Amrabat is yet to make his mark in the Premier League, and is obviously trying to adapt to the pace of the game.

He is yet to find the back of the net or register an assist. Generally, it has been largely an underwhelming performance by the Fiorentina star further casting doubts on his Man United future.

According to reports from The Sun, Erik ten Hag is reportedly ready to let Sofyan Amrabat go when his loan deal expires.

The decision has been linked to Kobbie Mainoo’s overwhelming performance since returning from the sidelines.

Erik ten Hag now considers Sofyan Amrabat a surplus with Mainoo’s elite-level performance hence will allow him leave this summer.
