Manchester United have reportedly reached an agreement with Nice duo Jean-Clair Todibo and Khephrem Thuram, MySportDab reports.

The move to sign the two players underscores the decision of the club’s new co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe to streamline Manchester United transfer activities as he sets out to restructure the club.

Sir Jim was already set to play a big role in Man United transfers with his pre-takeover antics. He berated Man United transfer policies and particularly questioned the signing of Casemiro.

United are set to undergo more transformations, especially in areas of recruitment with Ratcliffe set to play a big role – the move on Todibo and Thuram is an inkling.

According to Manchester United News, the Red Devils have agreed personal terms with Todibo and Thuram remaining talks with Nice to bring the two youngsters to Old Trafford.

Jean-Clair Todibo, 24, is a top-rated and promising French defender. He plays as a center-back for Nice and has won 2 caps with France’s national team. Todibo is known for his maturity and great composure with the ball.

Khephrem Thuram is also a Nice player and French footballer. Thuram plays as a midfielder for Nice and has also won a cap with France’s national team. He made his debut for Les Bleus in 2023.

With their promising qualities, the two players are considered key to Man United’s transitions in the midfield and defense department.

With uncertainties hanging over the future of Casemiro and Raphael Varane, Sir Jim Ratcliffe hopes to count on the versatility of the two players.
