Ivan Toney Confirms Decision On Transfer Future After 8-month Ban

Highly-rated Brentford and England striker Ivan Toney is back from his 8-month and is a top transfer target for top clubs in Europe, MySportDab reports.

Toney suffered a grinding career setback when he was handed a lengthy 8-month ban from football after he pleaded guilty for breaching gambling rules for professional footballers.

The 26-year-old was on top of his game before the ban, hurling in goals for the Bees week-in and week-out before his promising career grind to a halt with the ban.

For eight months, he has not tasted but has retain his status as one of the most promising strikers with top clubs interested in his services.

Before his ban, Brentford slammed a £100m price tag on the player to deter suitors as they were not interested in selling the player.

Brentford manager Thomas Frank considers Toney key to his squad and is hoping to have the prolific striker back to action with the Bees.

However, the Bees may not be able to keep Ivan Toney as he returns from his ban with big clubs waiting at the doors to bid for the player.

In his most recent interview with Sky Sports, shared by Fabrizio Romano, Ivan Toney confirmed his decision on his transfer future.

According to him, he is interested in playing for a big club and winning titles and he is ready to join any club with the right offer.

“It’s obvious I want to play for a top club and fight for titles, yes”.

“If a club was to pay the right money… then, who knows. January or whenever is right time, I’ll be ready”.

“I want to enjoy and play now”, told Sky Sports.”

Toney has made 66 Premier League appearances for Brentford, scoring 22 goals. He has two years remaining on his Brentford contract and has been linked with a move to Arsenal with other to clubs interested in his services.
