Mason Greenwood is not slowing down on his fairytale return to elite-level performance as he impressed yet again for Getafe in La Liga win over Granada, MySportDab reports.

The Manchester United youngster, who is on loan with the Madrid-based outfit, scored a sensational opening goal as Getafe edged pass Granada with a 2-0 victory in La Liga on Monday, January 29.

Taking a run on the right wing and spotting Granada goalkeeper Augusto Batalia off his line, Greenwood quickly switched to his left foot and clipped an effort into the near-post pass Batalia.

A sprawling Batalia watched helplessly as the ball flew pass him into the net.

The masterclass goal from the Manchester United loanee left fans drooling on social media.

A fan wrote, “What a goal! We can’t ask for a better.”

Another fan wrote, “Another good time to remind United they need Mason Greenwood.”

Another waxed lyrical, saying ”Greenwood is the deal. You can’t take it from the youngster. We can’t wait to have back boy.”

The beautiful piece of legwork by Greenwood took his goal tally for Getafe to 4 goals. He has now contributed 8 times for the club, having bagged 4 La Liga assists as well.

Manchester United decided to loan out Greenwood to Getafe last summer after he came out unscathed from the club’s investigations into assault claims.

As per the Sun, United under former CEO, Richard Arnold, wanted to reintegrate Mason Greenwood into Man United squad after the investigations but feared heavy media backlash and scrutiny should the youngster return to action with the club.

As a result, he was loaned to Getafe at the stroke of last summer’s transfer window. Since his summer move to the Madrid-based outfit, Greenwood has made headlines with his remarkable performances for the club.

He has attracted interest from top La Liga clubs with Getafe interested in a permanent move as well.

Greenwood’s contract with Manchester United will expire in 2025 with his Man United future yet to be determined.
