Out-of-favor Man United forward Facundo Pellistri has completed a loan move to La Liga side Granada, MySportDab reports.

Pellistri, who has struggled to nail down a regular spot in Man United first team since joining the club in 2020, joins Granada on a short-term loan until the end of the season.

Pellistri has made only 14 appearances for Manchester United this season, mostly as cameos off the bench.

Manchester United signed Pellistri from Penarol for £10m. Then an 18-year-old promising winger, the Uruguayan signed a five-year contract with the Red Red Devils.

He has spent four seasons with the club but has struggled to break into the starting IX. Throughout his four seasons, he has managed just 24 appearances for the club, spending a season in loan to Deportivo Alaves in Spain.

His move to Granada will mark his second loan stint to a La Liga club away from Manchester United.

Pellistri will be hoping to secure a permanent move away from Manchester United to breathe life back into his career following his deadlock at Old Trafford.

At the expiration of his loan tenure with Granada, he will have a year left on his Manchester United and is more likely to leave the club at the end of the summer.

The 23-year-old is now the fourth Man United player that has been loaned out by the club this January after Donny van de Beek, Jadon Sancho, and Hannibal Mejbri.

With Facundo Pellistri’s Man United exit, Erik ten Hag is expected to give more minutes to Man United young gun Amad Diallo, who has returned to the club following a lengthy injury layoff.
