Liverpool have confirmed a plan to feature the final days and months of Jurgen Klopp’s spell with Liverpool on a documentary, MySportDab reports.

Klopp, 56, announced his decision to step down as Liverpool manager at the end of the season. In an interview with Liverpool website, the former Mainz and Borussia Dortmund manager revealed he will step down as Liverpool boss when the current season comes to an end.

According to him, he is not Liverpool’s manager for the future and will have no energy to continue on coaching duties when the season ends.

The German tactician admitted he has informed Liverpool hierarchy of his decision back in November 2023.

With the announcement, Jurgen Klopp’s final days and months as Liverpool manager promises is already poised for a nervy and dramatic finish as fans braces for his exit.

Already, it has been a tale of emotions and high-pitched response by Liverpool fans with roughly six months left for his nine-year reign at the Reds dugout to come to an end.

In his first match against Norwich City in FA Cup after his announcement, Liverpool fans flooded Anfield with flags and banners and dedicated the club’s anthem to Klopp to show solidarity for the gaffer.

Now, Liverpool have confirmed they will begin recording and taking footage of Liverpool’s activities under Jurgen Klopp going forward for a round-the-clock documentary that will cover his final months and days at Liverpool.

According to the Athletic, the club actually started filming the German’s trail at Anfield’s dugout since December 2023 after he told them a month earlier he will leave.

He reportedly gave a nod to the decision before Liverpool made it public.

“With this being my final season, I thought we should provide a rare opportunity for viewers to have more of an inside look at what makes this club so special – its people,” Klopp said.

“From our fans to our players and those who work so hard behind the scenes, constantly in pursuit of success for Liverpool Football Club. Thanks to this new documentary series viewers will be able to see what I see every day at this great club, and understand those amazing people more.”

Jurgen Klopp won Champions League, Premier League, FA Cup, EFL Cup, Community Shield, UEFA Super Cup, and FIFA Club World Cup with Liverpool.

He has been regarded as one of the best managers the club have ever had and will be remembered for reinventing the wheels at Anfield to return Liverpool to a domestic and European giant.
