Jose Mourinho has predicted clubs that will win the Premier League and Champions League this season, MySportDab reports.

Speaking on Rio Ferdinand’s FIVE YouTube Channel, Mourinho dropped out Arsenal from the title race while settling for Liverpool and Manchester City to battle to the end for 2023/24 EPL title.

Further taking a stand between the two teams, Mourinho gave it to Manchester City to win their fifth successive Premier League title with the quality that is in the squad coupled with the savant hand of Pep Guardiola.

In his Champions League predictions, top European outfits like PSG, Bayern Munich, Manchester City and Real Madrid made his cut of clubs who will wrestle for the coveted trophy this season.

According to Jose Mourinho, he is expecting Manchester City and Real Madrid to go head-to-head on the European title, and it would be a surprise if another team from the two teams win the competition.

However, Mourinho tipped the likes of PSG and Bayern Munich to also challenge for the title.

“If somebody outside [those two] wins it, for me, it would be a great surprise.

“Champions League, I would say City or Real Madrid,’

”I would love Real Madrid to win it again for the club and for Carlo [Ancelotti]. I don’t know, Bayern Munich can do it, Paris Saint-Germain.

”Looking at potential, I think City/Liverpool for the Premier [League], City/Real for the Champions [League],” Mourinho said.

Bayern Munich suffered a shock 1-0 defeat to Lazio in Italy in their Champions League round 16 first leg and will be hoping to overturn the 1-0 deficit next month.

PSG got off the mark with a 2-0 victory over Real Sociedad in France to boost their chances of reaching the quarter-final.

Manchester City eased to a 3-1 victory away at the Parken stadium in Denmark against Danish Champions FC Copenhagen while Real Madrid saw off hard-fighting RB Leipzig with a narrow 1-0 victory at the Red Bull Arena in Germany.
