Manchester United star Marcus Rashford has taken a swipe at his critics for inconsiderate and inhuman criticisms of his Manchester United career, MySportDab reports.

Rashford, who has struggled this season to replicate his heroics for Manchester United last season, has come under heavy criticism for his underwhelming performance for Manchester United.

The English striker netted his all-time highest goal tally for Manchester United last season, scoring 30 goals in all competitions to return Manchester United to the Champions League and also end the club’s wait for silverware with an EFL Cup victory.

This season, it has been a sour tale for the Three Lions star. In 25 Premier League appearances for United, Rashford has managed just 5 goals with 2 assists – his lowest tally for the Old Trafford outfit since his breakout.

Rashford’s dwindling fortunes at Old Trafford zoomed into the spotlights with his recent off-field controversies. In February, he missed Man United training after attending a night-long party in Belfast.

As a result, he was dropped from Man United FA Cup tie against Newport County and was set for disciplinary action for missing training by feigning illness.

Manchester United later issued a statement confirming he has taken up responsibility for his actions and the matter has been settled.

Rashford did return with a bang for Manchester United, scoring in Premier League win over Aston Villa to prove his critics wrong.

The 25-year-old has now taken to the Players’ Tribune to address the controversies that has matted up his Old Trafford career.

Rashford describes his critics as unfair and added his commitment to Manchester United cannot be questioned.

He also added he is human and has always done his best for Manchester United as it was his childhood dream to play for the club.

“Listen, I’m not a perfect person. When I make a mistake, I’ll be the first one to put my hand up and say that I need to do better. But if you ever question my commitment to Man United, that’s when I have to speak up.

“It’s like somebody questioning my entire identity, and everything I stand for as a man. I grew up here. I have played for this club since I was a boy. My family turned down life-changing money when I was a kid so I could wear this badge, he wrote on the Players’ Tribune.
