The Arsenal Vs Porto Champions League round 16-second leg ended in chaos as Porto manager Sergio Conciecao fell out with Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta, MySportDab reports.

The heated clash dovetailed into chaotic scenes after Arsenal’s penalty shootout victory over the Portuguese giants.

The two sides settled for a 1-1 aggregate draw after Leandro Trossard scored the only goal of the night to cancel out Porto’s narrow 1-0 lead in the first leg.

Trossard’s goal dragged the game into extra time and then to penalties where Arsenal had the edge over the visitors, thanks to David Raya’s penalty-saving heroics.

David Raya saved two of Porto’s spot kicks to hand Arsenal a 4-2 victory which catapulted the team into the last 8 of the competition.

After the game, tensions boiled over in the technical area between players and managers of both clubs.

Porto Coach Sergio Conciecao and Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta clashed bitterly for alleged use of foul language.

Sergio Conciecao was seen in a furious bust-up with Mikel Arteta after the game and he addressed the fallout with the Arsenal boss saying he insulted him and his family during the game.

“What Arteta said, towards the bench in Spanish, he insulted my family. He should focus on training his team,” Conciecao said.

Mikel Arteta has reportedly denied the claims as made by Porto boss, as per club sources, and had refused to address the fallout rather than focusing on the performance of his players throughout the game.

“It was a magical night. It was what we expected against a tough opponent, who were really well organised, said Arteta.

‘We scored a beautiful goal. That’s a huge experience for us, we needed penalties and we prepared well of that.”

Arsenal will wait for the Champions League round 8 draws this week to learn their opponent for the next round of the competition.
