Manchester United have been held to a 1-1 draw by Brentford in a tightly-contested Premier League matchday 29 clash, MySportDab reports.
United made a promising start to the game dominating proceedings and making advances to the Brentford area.
However, it was still a deadlock at the opponents’ half with the Red Devils unable to make a good attempt on goal despite their promising start to proceedings.
From the 15th minute, Brentford, who had less possession of the ball, wrestled the game from United and were the more dominant side going forward.
The Bees registered sustained pressure in United’s half and won three consecutive straight corner kicks to cap a more dominant performance.

It was still barren for both sides with United’s initial dominant run curtailed by a resurgent Brentford side who were constantly threatening with numerous counters.
At the break, it ended barren with both sides unable to take the lead but Brentford looked more deadly on the attack, hitting the woodwork twice.
The second half was a no departure from the first half. Manchester United continued to struggle to exert their dominance in the game, all to no avail.
Brentford seemed to have cracked up United’s game plan and were on the ascendancy going forward. They registered a record 30 attempts but could only manage 4 on target.
The regulation time was spent with both sides unable to break the goal deadlock before Man United substitute Mason Mount finally gave United the lead in the 90+6th minute.
Three minutes after Mount’s goal, Ajer restored parity for the home side, scoring to make it 1-1. It ended squares after the final whistle with both sides sharing spoils.
