Erik Ten Hag’s situation with Manchester United remains in the air after his recent performance against Chelsea, MySportDab reports.

The devil boss was quizzed concerning the chances of staying at Old Trafford beyond the current season which he made his reaction known.

There have been many reports claiming Erik Ten Hag will be sacked while others are saying Jim Ratcliffe is confident in him staying as manager.

Many divided opinions are believed to also have made their way into the camp of Manchester United as of today.

Their performance has been questionable which has brought about many questions despite the Dutch coach doing well when he initially arrived at Old Trafford.

According to a report coming from Fabrizio Romano, he confirmed the comments from Erik Ten Hag when asked about his stay at Manchester United next season.

Here Is What Was Said:

“Sky: Do you believe that you’ll be here next season? You’ll be Jim Ratcliffe’s man?

“Erik ten Hag: “I don’t have any doubts and I love to be here”.

“This is a challenge. The results are not always going in the right direction but I’m sure we will get there, where we want to be”.

Manchester United’s recent game against Chelsea is the latest game the Netherlands coach is being judged over as his side showed quality but ended up losing.

United had come from behind 2-0 to take the lead in the second half 2-3 but they conceded a penalty and a last-minute goal from Cole Palmer made sure it all ended 4-3.

After the match, the devil boss said he was pleased with how they played but losing the game wasn’t a pleasant one despite doing enough to win the encounter.

Erik Ten Hag’s job is still a big doubt according to the manager who is hopeful of making the most of his time as they go up against Liverpool next.
