Liverpool was held to a 2-2 draw by Manchester United at Old Trafford with Kobbie Mainoo getting his name on the scorer’s board, MySportDab report.

Jurgen Klopp’s side was pushed once again by Erik Ten Hag players who did an exceptional job coming into the second half.

It was an unbearable game for the Devils who couldn’t make anything in the first half with zero shots off target or anyone making a goal attempt.

The game commenced at Old Trafford with a lot of expectations and both teams came prepared to see what they could make happen going forward.

Liverpool had it going well in the early minutes but we were hit with a scare when Alejandro Garnacho scored, but luckily the goal was ruled out for offside by VAR in the 3rd minute.

Manchester United had some moments with the ball but they were just short on everything as they kept on losing possession and did nothing much.

The game pushed on with the Reds taking the lead in the 23rd minute after Darwin Nunez made a sweet assist which was finished calmly by Luis Diaz who made things 0-1 as they pushed onward.

It was clear that Liverpool didn’t want much to do as they headed for the break 0-1 against Manchester United who from their end couldn’t do anything.

There was more that came to play as both teams continued to push for something in the second half which was another 45 minutes of cagey play from them.

Bruno Fernandes pulled Manchester United level 1-1 in the 53rd minute after a superb right-foot strike that beat the goalkeeper to make sure the game went back to square zero for both teams.

Liverpool failed to do a good job as they conceded another goal through Mainoo Kobbie wonderful finish which was from an assist from Aaron Wan-Bissaka to make things 2-1 in the 67th minute.

Mohamed Salah converted from the penalty spot ensuring he was able to drag the encounter back to level terms 2-2 in the 84th minutes played.

Liverpool failed to go top after being held by Manchester United to a 2-2 draw at Old Trafford in an entertaining match between both teams.
