Marcus Rashford’s thunderbolt strike against Manchester City has been voted the Premier League Goal of the Month, MySportDab reports.
Nine goals were nominated for the award with Yoane Wissa’s bicycle kick against Chelsea leading the list of nominated goals.
Manchester City youngster Phil Foden had his stunning curved effort from outside the box against Manchester United also making the cut of goals nominated for the award.
Kean-Philipe Mateta’s brilliant backheel goal for Crystal Palace against Manchester United was also in the list.
David Datro Fofana’s long-range strike against West Ham United was also nominated.
Jacob Murphy’s fiery and sensational for Newcastle United against Chelsea also make the shortlist, including Dominik Solanke’s solo goal and Rodri Muniz’s bicycle kick.
All the nine goals deservedly made the shortlist but Rashford’s strike was arguably the most stunning. The Manchester United forward live up to the billing against City at Etihad.
Despite an underwhelming performance for United this season, Rashford made it a clinical long-range finish from outside the box.
His precision, strength, and creativity all tell on goal which flew like lightening into the roof of the net.

United later surrender the 1-0 lead as City fought back to win 3-1 but Rashford’s goal was one to remember and it came at a high-stake clash as the Manchester Derby.
The 25-year-old has not had an impressive campaign with United this season but feats like this are reassuring of his potential to bounce back from his duck.
