Manchester United loanee to Getafe Mason Greenwood is not slowing on his heroics following his return to footballing action, MySportDab reports.
The English winger hogged the headlines as Getafe ran out with a 3-1 away win over Almeria LaLiga on Saturday, April 27.
Greenwood opened the scoring for Getafe in the 27th minute to fire the away side into the lead.
Before the break, Almeria clawed their charges into the game, scoring though Lozano, to peg the Madrid-based outfit to a 1-1 draw.
Three minutes into the second half, Mason Greenwood came up clutch again for Getafe, returning the visitors into the lead with his second goal.
Almeria made concerted efforts to tie the game again but were dealt a a final blow when Mata scored a minute after the hour mark to seal the win , thanks to Greenwood’s assist.
A hat-trick of goal contributions for Mason Greenwood in the game saw the Man United loanee took his goal contributions for Getafe to 14.
He has scored 8 LaLiga goals and recorded 4 assists in 28 LaLiga appearances.
According to Opta, Greenwood reached a career milestone after his brace and assist against Almeria.
