Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez fired Inter Miami into a resounding victory over New Red Bulls with a record 10 goal contributions on Saturday, May 4, MySportDab reports.

The prolific Barcelona legends led the charge as Inter Miami came from a goal down in the first half to put the visitors to a rout in the second half.

Rojas opened the scoring for the home side in the 48th minute to tie the game, courtesy of an assist by Lionel Messi.

Two minutes after the goal, Messi transitioned from an assist provider to a goalscorer, overturning the game in Inter Miami’s favor.

After Lionel Messi’s goal, the rest was history as the Florida-based outfit went on an incredible goalscoring run to secure a thumping victory.

Messi assisted Rojas again in the 62nd minute to extend the lead before he also assisted Luis Suarez to make it 4-1.

In the 75th and 81st minute, Lionel Messi bagged another double of assists helping Luis Suarez struck twice to bag his hat-trick.

After going 6-1 up, they conceded a penalty which was converted by Forsberg to reduce the score margin.

At the blast of the final whistle, the Gerardo Martino-led side made it another evening to remember as they secured all three points with a big win to consolidate their grip on top of the Eastern Conference table.

Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez have now scored 10 goals each for Inter Milan with Messi scoring or assisting in his last seven matches for the Herons.

Also, Messi broke MLS record in the game, becoming the first MLS player to record as much as 6 goal contributions in a single MLS match.

The eight times Ballon d’Or winner is also leading the MLS assist chart with 12 assists.
